District Update - 5/28/21

Hello, everyone,

I hope this finds you enjoying the approach to summer!

This is a quick reminder that the next District meeting is coming up fast, June 1rst., at 6 p.m. You can attend in person at PLUC, or Zoom in using the number and passcode found on the website, coppercountryaa.org. There are several items on the agenda, including the upcoming Recovery Picnic on June 19, a possible Intergroup, and more.

After attending the Delegate's report Assembly on the 15th, I am happy to report that yes, a 5th edition of the Big Book is going forward, but with NO changes to the first 164 pages. There has been much discussion about this and other matters relating to changes in the various pieces of literature. I will be bringing two extra hard copies of the entire Conference Advisory Actions for anyone wishing to review it, and the minutes from that Assembly will appear in the June Now & Then.

Enjoy the Memorial Day holiday, and I hope to "see" you all next Tuesday!

With gratitude,

Lil
